A quick update:
The First Game of the 2014 Season was on Tuesday, March 18th, against Thomas Jefferson (a non-Seamount game). This game was lost: (12 TJHS, 5 LHS). From inside sources, this was accounted to poor playing on LHS's part. Eagles will do better with the coming game tomorrow against the Foster Bulldogs though.
Also, Ricky Rouse the Third, was not called up, nor was Marshall Clairmont, though Mr. Rouse may be called still mid-season. The New Guy from Arizona will most-likely not see field time this season (reasons undisclosed).
Petrovisky Park is now the Home Field of Eagle's Baseball, and their next game is tomorrow (Friday) at 3:30. JV will be at the Showalter Complex in Tukwilla, also at 3:30. No word though on JV's game against Interlake H.S.
That's all the news for now. Keep here for the updates with Eagle's Baseball's Season.

Lindbergh's Baseball Season Pre-Season Report: Quicksand Field, Goodbye Coach Smith, and The Future.
I'd like to take time to tell about Lindbergh High School's Baseball Teams. These guys don't get the credit they deserve, so I'd like now to tell about what's new for this season:
First Off- The Field: Last Year, the Vice-Principal in charge of Athletics at LHS, had the field's dirt replaced. This would have been good, but District Grounds-Keepers, did not maintain it through the fall and winter. With the Season fast approaching, the field is the worst it has ever been, and quoting/paraphrasing Zadrian Behnke "...It's 20 times worse (than quicksand)..." Way-to-go RSD, now both teams are running to Cascade Elementary, to use their field. Load up Coach Benny's truck, and run like no tomorrow. The Girls Fastpitch field also had the dirt replaced, but it is believed it fared better... Since it drains onto the Baseball Field! No final word on where home field will be this year, but possibilities include Cascade Elementary, Petrovitsky Park, and a few other places.
Second- Coach Smith's Departure: JV Coach J. Smith, has left the Eagle's Baseball Program- for unknown reasons at this time. He has been replaced by Coach Benny's son Brandon. Comparative notes from an inside source, state that while Smith was well able in "Individual Communication" to players, as well as "Team Communication," Coach Brandon, is a more "Reserved Person," although may have more experience. Coach Smith, if you're reading this, you are truly missed.
Third- Varsity: Just about any person who returned, was moved on to Varsity, including Ricky Rouse the Third. He's the outfielder to look-out for, and that ain't just "Whistlin' Dixie." The Strength is at the Mound, and Defence equals success for this season. Also, there is a new guy- a transfer out of Arizona. We'll see how he does.
Fourth- J.V.: From "Inside Sources," the Freshman aren't too bad. One Source said that there are "...reminders of Tom, Ryan, and Enrique's J.V. years..." With the potential of a few descent freshman, rest assured that by their Junior Year, they'll be okay. We'll soon see.
Final Notes: The Teams will be 15 men each.
The 2014 Eagle's Baseball Season is sure to be a doozie. Eagle's will go far this year, and don't you forget it.
