A Very Late... Lindbergh Baseball Report:

So, sorry for the late update. Here's the update from the last two-and-a-half (or so) weeks.

Thursday, March 20th: JV lost to to Interlake in an upsetting 16-0 loss attributed to Interlake's good abilities, JV's poor fielding, and that they were not informed they could wear their metal cleats on the astroturf.

Friday, March 21st: Varsity won their game against Foster in a blazing 7 to 3 win. Matt Hernandez was well on the hill. Taylor went 3-4 in the game. Tom Richards went 2-3, and hit a fantastic grand slam against former LHS student Daniel Disque (who was on the hill). Tom Richards made even more news, with his fantastic (and no-injury) diving catch in the outfield. Enrique Martinez also hit two run against Foster in that game. JV's game, was canceled, and moved to April 1st.

Wednesday, March 26th: Varsity's game against Evergreen game was a grand (if a bit soggy) victory in a 12 to 3 win (even though, from sources, it was rained out in the 4th). JV also won it's game, one to nil.

Monday, March 31st: Lindbergh's Varsity defeat to "Private School Rival" Kennedy Catholic, was not without a fight, at a 4 to 3 loss. The loss was attributed to their men on the mound, besting our's at the plate. JV however, was massacred with a terrible 30 to 3 wipeout. But things got better the next day.

Tuesday, April 1st: Foster got the joke on them, if they thought Lindbergh's JV would be a piece of cake to finish off, if they knew about Kennedy's win the day before. JV won in a 26 to 2 blowout; more than ample to lift those boys spirit's! Way to go JV; that's the ticket.

Wednesday, April 2nd: The Tyee Games were yet another victory for the Eagles Baseball Boys! With Varsity's 2-1 win, and JV's 26 to nil blowout, Eagle's Baseball was in grand spirits on Wednesday. More details to follow.

Friday, April 4th: Lindbergh's Eagles went toe to toe against "Cross-Town" district rivals, the Hazen Highlanders. Varsity went down fighting with a 4 to 3 loss, and there's no word on what happened in the JV game. More details to follow.

Monday, April 7th: Lindbergh's Varsity went up against the Renton Indians yesterday, and knocked them out of the park in a 30 to 1 victory. More details to follow.

Tuesday, April 8th: Scores and Details are awaited on the Highline game. As soon as information is avaliable to the blog, it will go up.

That's all for now on Eagle's Baseball folks, check back here for the news, and such-forth, in the days to come.
