You Never Really Quite Go Home Again, and to Kenny Rogers- I knew when to walk away...

Today, was yet another painful reminder you can't quite go home again. You try a one shot to re-enter a world you once were in, and you get a shoulder colder than Antarctica in a Northern Hemisphere Summer! Best advice I can give to all my readers, is that if you're going to re-enter a world, be as obvious as possible, because if it's been years, you're not known well anymore, and you get that shoulder I was talking about. If I run into any more people I know, I just as well might not bother, unless by some act of the Almighty, it was meant to be. I guess all I can say is, I knew when to walk away, and I'll just keep doing that, till something changes...
